About Us

We are a small church, with a big heart, in Edinburgh.

Many people come along for different reasons, be it bereavement, seeking to communicate with a loved one in spirit, curious etc.

Athough the physical body dies, and all physical matter returns to earth, the spirit body, that is the real person, survives death. The individual's soul including their personality goes to a greater and better life in spirit.

All of us are given evidence, unique for ourselves, if we want to hear it, that our relatives and friends are fine in their new life in spirit. They keep telling us they are OK and enjoying their new condition. We hear it again and again from mediums on our platform. If we are honest with ourselves, this adds up to unshakeable proof.

Life after death is not a vague hope or promise, but a sure and certain fact. This knowledge is at the core of Spiritualism, and gives us great security.

Therefore, at Portobello Spiritualist Church, there is the opportunity to come along and see the excellent mediums that we have.
